0000023: Remove need to specify full path to auth file

Remove the need to specify the full path to the authentication file which gets specified in the Cacti templates. By using a default location we can cut down having to pass the entire path and just use the filename, this makes the templates a bit neater and the user then doesn't need to know where the password files are located.

0000022: Fix broken CDEF's

Cacti 0.8.7c+ swapped back to an older method of graph generation using only one data source per Cacti data source. 0.8.7b used 4 for supposedly better graph accuracy.

Update the graph templates to suit newer versions of Cacti.

0000009: Improve handling of wmic errors.

Improve how the script handles errors when executing the wmic binary. At the moment it freaks out just drops PHP errors.

0000021: Exchange 2007 Templates

Create and add some exchange 2007 templates to the package.

0000020: Add support for a generic data input method

Add support so that a generic data input method can be created and reused. This would allow for hosts/graph templates to be setup and have it entirely automated. It also means you never need to touch the data input method.

0000016: Update templates to suit new input method

Update the existing templates to suit the new method of passing arguments.

0000015: Add help information

Add help information when running the script with no inputs and explain what each command is and an example. Improves usability.

0000019: Add option to return count of rows

Add the ability to return the count of the number of rows returned from the WMI query. This allows you to track say the number of mounted exchange databases or the number of disks on a server and then plug it into an alerting system should one go down.

0000018: Backwards compatibility for old argument input method

Add backwards compatibility for the old input method as many templates are using this and due to the changes these would be broken.

0000012: Overhaul how arguments are passed to wmi.php

Update wmi.php to use getopt() so that arguments can be passed like so "-arg1 data1 -arg2 data2".

0000003: Debug mode via console option

Set debug level using argument passed to wmi.php on the command line rather than just in wmi.php

0000013: Add support for alternate namespaces

The latest version of the WMI client supports alternate namespaces. Add support for these so that these can be used.

0000014: Use isset() instead of is not null

Replace the use of is not null or is null with isset().

0000008: Prevent passwords from showing up in process list

To prevent passwords showing up in the process list look at using the --authentication-file option. It would be a case of specifying where to find the file per credential reference and a slight modification to wmi.php.

0000006: Fix data template MIN & MAX

Fix the data templates to resolve a long standing issue with spikes. Most of the counter type data sources have their values set too high and allow for spikes to occur which are quite hard to remove.

Having a problem with the Exchange templates. They all seem to be CDEF issues.

Create templates to suit Enterprise Vault.

0000011: Importing 8CPU breaks other CPU templates

I had 4CPU running fine, imported 8CPU for a new host and now 8CPU graphs are being generated for that host but 4CPU graphs for the other host are blank.

Cleanup and comment wmi-logins.php

0000004: Split configuration options to separate file

Look at splitting off the config options into a separate file rather than storing them within wmi.php. In theory making wmi.php a little cleaner.
